This Friday we are live so come down to TCTV, 440 Yauger Way SW in Olympia to sing. Sign up begins at 6:30 and we go live at 7pm so set your Tivo's and DVR's.

Hello fellow Olybloggers,

I have been working especially hard the past few weeks in preparation for the grand opening of my new holistic healthcare center in east Olympia, A Sound Body & Mind. I'm putting the final touches on the office in the coming week and want to invite you all to my open house party on Saturday September 27th.

From 6 to 8pm, the doors will be wide open. We will have tasty things for you to munch and sip as you check out the new clinic. Obviously, I'm very excited about it, as I'm hoping you will be when you see it. There is no need to RSVP, just stop by whenever you like. David Rovics, called "the musical version of Democracy Now!" by Amy Goodman, is playing his wonderful music in Olympia to raise awareness about the proposed rezoning of the isthmus . The concert is free for all, but any donations you care to give will go to Olympia SDS and the Olympia Street Medics Collective.

Free fluorescent bulbs at Olympia Lighting Center

A friend told me that Olympia Lighting was giving away free light bulbs so I stopped in yesterday. They are giving away 4 packs of 60 watt fluorescent light bulbs (you do have to pay for the tax.) I got a case! This is a promotion by PSE, so you have to be a PSE customer. The sales clerk told me to pass the word along and that as far as he knows, this is going on for awhile.
