Sep 13 2008 - 7:00pm KURT COBAIN MEMORIAL COMMITTEE PRESENTS LOUNGE ACTS 2008 FEATURING HARVEY DANGER and SCHOOLYARD HEROES, with Black Top Demon and Gebular The Kurt Cobain Memorial Committee is announcing its second annual benefit concert, Lounge Acts, scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at the historic 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam, Wash. The show is open to all ages. All proceeds go toward the committee’s goal to build a youth center in Cobain’s honor in his hometown of Aberdeen, Wash. Each band will perform at least one Nirvana cover. A guitar played by Kurt in junior high school will also be given away. Tickets are $20 and available at www.kurtcobainmemorial.org, at Rosevear's Music in Aberdeen or at the door beginning at 4 p.m., day of.  |
