Trivia question of the day. Now most people know one of Ted Bundy's first victms was an Evergreen student who disapeared off the campus maybe in the 70's I don't know the date right off hand. Now my trivia question is, What other serial killer started their criminal career in Oly? I dont think any one will get this one. And no the Hollywood bandit is not who I'm talking about, it has to be a serial killer. hint pay close attention to the wording.

Transient, Lacey
Suspected of killing five women and assaulting others in Washington and Oregon. Braae faces trial in the slaying of Lori Jones, 44, whose body was found July 8, 2001, in her Lacey apartment. He is also charged in Yakima with shooting Marchelle Morgan, 50, of Yelm, also in July 2001. She survived. Braae is a suspect in the death of Velina Larson, 37, whose remains were found in Oregon in January 1998, and the disappearances of Deb VanLuven, 45, of Lacey, in 1997, and Susan Ault, 39, of Roseburg, in 2001.

Nope, never heard of him. if I did I would of worded my question better. I suppose there may be other ones too, so I will narrow the field. So I guess I have to give an other hint. This serial killer wrote a book while in prison. Also remeber the first hint. Also Lacy is not Oly.

Yes that's the on. according to the book "Women who kill Serial murders and their victims"" by Eric Hicky. Dorthea came to Oly shortly after WW11 and was arrested for prostitution by Oly police and then she married and ex soldier and moved on with here criminal career planting bodies in her garden . She is convicted of killing 9 folks. I was a trick question because she started her career here for prostitution and I think that was the first on her criminal record, but as far as anyone knows she did not kill any one here. I guess Oly in the 50's was not as Ward and June Cleaver as folks like to believe. good job I didn't think any one would get this, it must of been the book hint. eat the rich the poor are skinny

I Am A True Crime Buff!

Some folks like history, I like true crime! It took a little research on my part, about an hour, and the book hint did help but I couldn't stop until I figured it out! I was close to emailing Ann Rule and asking her just because I had to know! I love discussing true crime with her and she's always so quick to answer emails but I decided to throw Dorthea out there first! I would love to see this cookbook! LOL!

Does this mean I win a prize now? If so, can it be to have Jusby The Clown pie 3 people of my choice??? LOL!

I thought it was really obscure Oly trivia. And I did not know about that other guy, so that tripped me up. I read that book recently and that fact bogled the brain for a minute. You want to wonder if the water was partialy to blame? Or maybe caymans? wht about zombie squids? I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I will try to think up another one. eat the rich the poor are skinny
