I was trying to embed the photo on the TO blog here, but for some reason it wasn't working, and there's a naughty word painted on the Rossi sign, so just click through to the TO blog to see it. Also, comment over at R. Scott's blog, they're turned off here. COMMENTS OPEN NOW. Just tried to leave a comment over there and he has on comment moderation. So, while I encourage you to share some comment love over there, feel free to comment here as well.

Cooper Point Road Sign...
Submitted by Ehver Green on Tue, 07/22/2008 - 3:29pm....is fixed. Yeah, maybe it's not level but my son and I stood it up and attached the support legs this afternoon. Hope to see it stay until those who put it up take it down.
Very responsible of you, thank you.

Submitted by stevenl on Wed, 07/23/2008 - 6:50pm.Taking down or defacing political signs is as American (or obnoxious) as putting them up in the first place. It happens every election season on both sides.
I would propose that we do away with the whole idea of political signs and political advertising on TV, and create a more rational and fair way of having the candidates present their ideas. Ways that don't appeal to primal fears. Ways that don't have to resort to warping the views of their opponents and sinking to personal attacks. Ways that don't annoy the Hell out of those of us who are not members of the Republican or Democratic cults. This is possible. It can happen someday. I'm sure all those "Third House" lobbyists up in the Leg. Building will gladly step aside and let the people vote on issues on their own merits.
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime.
