Thought I would also round up some other growth that is on the table around the city. These are either priliminary submissions to the city or project discussions, or may have already begun. Like with the clearing near Division & Walnut Rd, these things can slip by with little to no fuss. Take the entire moonscaping of the development along Mud Bay & Evergreen Pkway/101 Interchange for example. That will soon be a 58-Acre development. It is slated to have 231 single-family lots, 24 duplexes, 63 triplexes, 54 sixplexes, 20 townhomes, and commercial buildings with at least 7000 sq ft of floor space. And lots of garage doors. Link to location here.

Unfortunately not. These are

Unfortunately not. These are from the city of oly development website and the design review agendas. It gives me an idea though: a community map where folks can mark where development is happening, what it affects, etc... If we all had a better understanding of when/where things were happening, we could do a better job commenting on the plans and asking the developers to do more to respect the nature beauty of an area.

Map

City staff have, in the past, prepared a map of all current development applications, for the city council.  Maybe they still do.

If past history is a guide, almost all of these developments will be either in west Oly (probably west of Division St/Black Lake Blvd) or in southeast Oly (near Boulevard Rd and Log Cabin Rd).
