The old garden from years ago had flowers, which had survived over time. They return on the mounds of dirt in the spring, today the port took a weed-whacker to them too. I’m sure the flowers will be back. And so will we.

a confession

Sarah, I think I need to confess something. You're series has been fascinating to me, and I really hope you expand on it.

Confession: I've been a May Day watcher from the very first time on the Westside/Black Lake-Cooper Point intersection. Since then, I've tried to follow the planning and execution of the event, and up until 2003, watching. In the grand scheme of things, I don't know what that means, but I thought I would put it out there.

I think it might be my attraction to the cold filtered anarchist philosophy. I can respect it, use it as a reference point, but never embrace it. I also love Crimethinc, maybe even more than May Day.

What a confession!

Wow, I'm impressed Emmett! And thanks for the appreciation too. You missed the 2006 rally and march?

I've missed everything

I've missed everything between 2004 and 2006. I might come this year, you never know. You'll see me lurking about a block away, waiting for something to happen.
