I don't have an answer to this enigma, but whenever I think about it, it chills my soul. I won't be eating lobster any time soon. But, then again, maybe the chef was a Dadaist.

When a witness told me this story, I could tell that it was a story that had to be told, anyone who heard it had to tell someone. I have no clue why. And now I wonder if the story is easier to take if we find out that the chef is a Dadaist, or does that make it even more chilling?

Y'know, I might write stuff

Y'know, I might write stuff out of my head about Giant Richie Rich heads or a monkey in an iron lung, but this is far more bizarre since it is based on something that really happened. After will_is_ok's "Fudge" post, this one is my 2nd fave OlyBlog post. Every now and then, for no apparent reason, I'll find myself yelling out loud, "The Face! The Face!" and then look around to make sure no one noticed. It was particularly embarrassing when I did that while being an observer during a facelift surgery.

Take a look, then wonder.

Deep

I was recently placed into a state of deep hypnosis, and when asked to recite the most horrifying, bone marrow-chilling things I have ever read, I included Sarah's "The Face!" post word for word, apparently with much drama. My rendition was filmed and will be appearing on DVDs in stores soon, available in the scarey movie section. Needless to say, there were other frightening passages of OlyBlog origin I used, but let us revisit these in small doses.

Worth the trouble to eat? Or just a messy pain? This was a debate topic between William F. Buckley and Gore Vidal up in a sound booth at the 1968 Democratic Party Convention in Chicago. Or maybe I just had that image in a dream. Or maybe I'm just making it up.
