holding hands trees

Unfortunately, one of the holding hands trees didn't survive a recent storm, and the trail has been permanently re-routed around the former underpass.

via bike?

Didja hit those trails under the power lines? Great shots =)

Peddle Power

Thanks Chad.

I was under peddle power, but I didn't hit the trails under the power lines. Have you tackled them?

>grin<

...nope, not since '89, thats why I was asking =)

Bert, do you ever do

Bert, do you ever do photography workshops?

Photography Workshops

Thanks Ashley, I took some classes in high school. But it's been a while.

To be fair, I think you're asking if I conduct photography workshops. To that the answer is no.

But maybe you're asking if I take workshops. In that case, do you think I could use some pointers?

Hah. Obviously I needed to

Hah. Obviously I needed to be more clear in my question. Yes, I wanted to know if you do conduct (or have considered conducting) workshops, out of a personal interest in attending one. I have a long-standing interest in photography, but haven't learned a lot about it or devoted energy to self-teaching. As for pointers, I wasn't thinking of it that way and I don't have any specific suggestions for your work, but I'm curious-- I find that most of my photos are of people. Do you also work with human subjects?

Thanks, I needed that!

R - great pics, as always. Like the slideshow format too. I was biking around feeling photographically uninspired today, so to see your images was a great shot of visual wonderment. i love that area, and you've shown some fresh angles. So again, thanks!

Photographically Uninspired

Thank you! It helps to have great subject matter. The nature trail around McLane Creek is awesome in its own right, camera and photography or no.

I think that I know what you mean about feeling uninspired. Happens to me too. But again, it helps to have inspiring subject material! And the great thing about nature is that it's always changing, every trip around the trail is different (and interesting in its own way).
