Bought a bar of Fedora Dark Chocolate at Einmalien's today and man is it good! Smooth like milk chocolate and not bitter, yet still dark. Bourbon is one of the ingredients. Looks like it would be good for a vegan although there is a disclaimer of "may contain traces of milk or nuts"

Mmmmmmm :)

I bought a couple of ounces of dark chocolate at the coop on the way home today. Seems like a great day for chocolate, doesn't it?

I'm about to break down

And join the co-op.  TJ or not.  My week has been having it's ups and downs so I decided I needed good chocolate.

Does the possibility of milk traces keep you from trying this stuff?  I think the burbon makes a huge difference.  It's a very unique chocolate.

About milk traces...

I have bought items prepared on equipment that may leave traces of milk and haven't yet evolved to the point where I'd actively avoid it. For me, the issue is basically that I'm giving my business to a company that offers products with milk in them even if the chocolate itself does not. That's pretty hard to avoid in any case, although there are more and more opportunities to give business to vegan only companies.

Am glad you treated yourself to some chocolate :)

That's good to know....

Thanks to your ever incessant discussions :-), I have found myself making some different choices in my food purchases.  I'm not going to change from my omnivore lifestyle but I have modified it and will keep doing so.

To everyone else.  Go buy some of this blasted chocolate.
