ThurstonBlog blogged by Larry:

Friday Night - Lucky Dog Casino gig went well, even with false starts. Some child took a car without permission and caused an accident on Hwy 101, sending two people to the hospital and jamming traffic. I took a detour route through Shelton and was able to keep going. My drummer forgot his stick bag and ended up playing with toy arrows, purchased at Walmart (now THERE is talent!

You know how the Toys 'R' Us sign has that backwards 'R' in it? When I was a kid, I used to worry that the fact that I saw the R as backwards meant I was dyslexic. I remember thinking about it a lot, and I specifically remember being in a parking lot and looking at the sign and quietly freaking out/being scared that I had dyslexia.

waffyjon's random thoughts is now Jon's Random Acts of Geekery and has lots of fun images.

Have to get to bed early and get up early for the big anti-war rally in Seattle tomorrow. My friend Caitlin and I will be giving a 5 minute speech about how truly awesome Port Militarization Resistance is. The last such speech, which I did alone, I got the whole crowd to chant "TASE FEWER VETS! TASE FEWER VETS!" as my closer, but since I'm sharing the stage this time, the awesome will have to come some other way....

Today we had our first annual pumpkin carving party. The kids had sooooo much fun. Several of the families from Sam's football team were here and the girls each had some of their friends here as well. We cleared out the garage, put up some tables and let everyone have at it. I also made lot's of Halloween themed food. I made vampire cupcakes, witch fingers, meatball eyes & witch hat calzones amoung other things.

Ideally all feed aggregators would let users tag every blog feed with multiple tags, single folders just don't do the trick completely. Many blogs are not only personal, or political, or whatever - they are a meld of many themes.

There are many more fine blogs to explore on Oly public Bloglines, including Rob Whitlock's In the Course of Events and Emmett O'Connell's Olympia Time.
