Last Friday representatives from six different organizations with a stake in downtown met to take a full inventory of all of the other organizations associated with downtown and to discuss how all of these organizations might work together for the common good of our city’s core. The general impetus for the meeting was a recent surge in the number of organizations sprouting up in our community – each one to stake claim to their individual downtown-related causes. mathias

Unfortunately, the time doesn't work for me

Submitted by einmaleins on Fri, 07/25/2008 - 11:06am... I'm sorry. We didn't purposely plan this meeting to overlap with the "Friends..." meeting.
We met last week at this time and day and just scheduled for the same time again.
Are the "friends" meeting weekly at this time and day, if so we will move ours in the future.
Also, the idea for our meeting is to create a bigger, regular, all-welcome meeting to discuss visions for downtown. So we're in the early stages of setting things up here.
I look forward to meeting you at einmaleins and we can share some thoughts.
