Roller Derby in Olympia!

One of Olympia's best kept secrets is the recent formation of a female roller derby team, The Oly Rollers. They have been honing their skills at Skateland- www.skatelandolympia.com - and are in the process of incorporating themselves so they can have actual roller derby meets/competitions. This is one of the more DIY organizations I have seen in a long time, that is not falling short of expectationn. The women of the league have been deidcating countless hours and their time to realize the league. Won't you come out and support them? they are having a benefit raiser at The Manium Warehouse in downton Olympia this Sunday, 7 May 2006. The festivities start at 7PM and continuing until midnight.

At Manium 421 4th st E, Downtown Olympia

$7 at door.

5 bands: Spasm, Sex a-peel, Vomiting Unicorns, Hook and the Daggers, and Adventure, foxy boxing, raffle and pictures with rollergirls

I know this chick Meghan G. who does rollerderby she is hardcore to the floor.I am at that event already sipping bourbon from a hollowed out chinamans skull wraped in the cured skin of a homosexual jew. I likes me drink strong and cruel.

You know Nicki, some people are as passionate about roller derby ("...this crap...") as you are about the Procession. If someone referred to the Procession as "crap", you would probably become upset and offended. I have a friend or two who are doing this, and it's because they love it and it gets them active and socializing with others. Probably the same reasons you enjoy the Procession.
